Aston Observation Playground and Traffic Bike Park, Craigieburn
One part adventure playground, second part bike park! Equals the perfect recipe for a family day out.
Situated in Melbourne’s northern suburb of Craigieburn, Aston Observation Park is divided into playground and traffic bike track, with sheltered picnic tables conveniently placed in between for parents to park themselves and get good sight of both spaces.
Playground equipment features a huge climbing tower with connecting tunnel slide, swings, two trampolines, spinner, rope bridge, hammock and double seat see-saw.
My kids spent most of the time doing laps on the learn to ride bike/scooter track (bring your own bike, scooter or ride on car and helmet) the park is complete with speed bumps, road line markings, round about, parking bays and street signage. It will have your little racer’s imagination running with wild, while learning about road safety.
The only down side to this amazing playground and bike track is there are no toilets nearby, we spotted a few kids doing a bush wee on our visit, make sure to go before arriving.
