The story comes to life within the place space with the shady paths and dry river beds children can explore and let their imaginations run wild, you may even spot wombat from the book. Play equipment includes swings, slides, huts, tunnels, mechanical sandpit diggers, flying fox, bridges, monkey bars and hanging disk swings. climbing walls, ladders, walkways, wave slide, abacus, rope ladders, high rope bridge for the daring kids, fireman’s pole, dual metal slides (with shade sails above) and various fun musical instruments.
Bollygum Park also has a skate park, free BBQ facilities and sheltered picnic tables to use for family gatherings and birthday celebrations. The lovely Bollygum Community Market is held on the 2nd Sunday of every month with local stall holders selling beautiful handmade and homegrown goods from art and craft, fresh produce, collectables, plus food and drink.
