Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mount Coot-tha
The Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha offers visitors a living museum of native and exotic plant collections. The themed sections include a scented garden, bamboo grove, arid zone with a cactus garden, Japanese Gardens, waterfalls, tropical greenhouse and the largest collection of Australian native rainforest trees in the world.
Children and parents can explore the Hide ‘n’ Seek Children’s Trail set in the heart of the shady Exotic Rainforest or enjoy a special storytime on the Wedding Lawn Two, every Tuesday 9:30 – 10am, please note that in the event of rain story time will relocate to the rotunda near the Fragrant Garden. Ideal for children aged 2-5 years.
Gardens open every day of the year between 8am – 5.30pm from September to March and 8am – 5pm from April to August.
