Bulrush Park Adventure Playground, Wellard

Bulrush Park Adventure Playground is one of best free places to visit, located south of Perth.

The name is a nod to nearby Bollard Bullrush Swamp, a scenic and historically significant wetland area to the north of the park. The playground’s highlight is without a doubt the 8 metre high climbing tower, which connects to a raised, ramped walkway for inclusive elevated play. The huge curly tunnel slide is also equally entertaining for kids too.

Surrounding the two mega play structures is another slide built into the mound, sand pit, interactive play boards, birds nest swing, regular swings, nature play, crawling tunnels and smaller toddler slide.

There’s a small lawn area to kick a ball or picnic on or picnic tables and BBQ facilities to make a morning/afternoon out with friends and families. Only down side to Bulrush Park Adventure Playground is there are unfortunately no toilets.
