Henry Brigg Park Playground, Epping
A little slice of the seaside in Sydney’s north-west, Henry Brigg Park is the picture perfect playground complete with the white picket fence.
Partly fenced (most importantly from the street) and shaded too, tick, tick, the charming nautical themed playground’s main attraction has to be the tall lighthouse tower, imaginative kids can look out from the top and warn boats below of dangerous rocks ahead. The tower has a number of climbing challenges, a double racer wave slide, two telescopes and cubby house underneath.
Surrounding play equipment includes a swing set of a baby/toddler swing, regular swing and nest hammock swing, plus a spring ‘wave rider’ boat complete with two steering wheels.
There’s a number of bench seating for parents to watch children from and a small patch of lawn to lay down a picnic rug.
