Howard Smith Wharves is a heritage-listed wharf on the Brisbane River directly underneath the iconic Story Bridge and is also the new entertainment precinct for kid friendly dining.

Brisbane families are spoilt for choice to grab a bite to eat or drink. There’s water front dining offering everything  to suit the fussiest eaters including burgers, Italian, Greek and even ice cream.

Located on the Felons Brewing Co lawn sits a huge timber boat playground, which plays homage the first settlers to discover the Brisbane River, way back in 1823, kids can go up and down the tunnel slide while Mum and Dad take in the stunning river views with a sneaky drink in hand of course.

Another wooden toddler sized playground is situated further down which is beached in a sand pit best suited for the younger kids to enjoy, there’s some picnic tables and grassy areas surrounding the play structure if you wanted to grab take away.
