Joe Bradfield Centre Park Playground & Learn to Ride Bike Track, Carina
Joe Bradfield Centre Park is the perfect playground for all active toddlers across Brisbane. A spot we’ve been visiting for some time now and have been meaning to share with you.
Typically this centre is used for before and after school care services, however it is open to the public when not in use, particularly on the weekends and throughout the day. With after school care not running recently due to Covid-19 we have been taking full advantage of it open to families all the time.
When we say it’s perfect for toddlers we mean it. The centre itself is completely fenced, offering a real life learn to ride bike track for kids, complete with pretend play traffic lights and road signs. This shady area is truly ideal for the kids to practice their riding skills, whether it be starting out on a trike or advancing to their two wheeled skills on a balance bike or scooter. Just don’t forget to pack the helmets.
Aside from the learn to ride bike track is a shaded medium sized playground with lots of basic play equipment to keep the kids entertained plus plenty of open grassy areas to spread out and enjoy a picnic whilst watching the kids play.
A hidden gem!
