Livvi’s Place Hendrie Street Reserve Inclusive Playground, Park Holme
Hendrie Street Reserve in Park Holme is the first accessible play space in the region in collaboration with the The Touched by Olivia Foundation. Located right behind the Marion Outdoor Swimming Pool is where you will find the all inclusive Livvi’s Place playground.
The fully fenced park has all bells and whistles for a sensory overload experience. Play equipment includes a three level timber tower with connecting tunnel slide, climbing challenges and viewing platforms, a range of different swings (baby/toddler swing, regular swing, basket swing, and parent & child swing) sandpit with bucket and pulley station, chalk board (bring your own chalk) spinning carousel, see-saw, plus some nature play elements such as rocky creek bed, raised community garden boxes, stepping stones and balancing logs.
The kids will also love the water play areas, packing a towel and spare clothes is a must, there’s a 40m sealed bike or scooter track for kids learning to ride in the north-west corner of the playground too.
Adelaide families can make a day out at Hendrie Street Reserve with the sheltered picnic tables, drinking fountains, toilets one with a with baby change table, and BBQ facilities to use as well.
