Mulholland Drive Playground, Tarneit
For the little nature lovers and explorers out there this one is for you, Mulholland Drive Playground in Melbourne’s western suburb of Tarneit is a lovely nature based park with a huge wooden tower slide, that’s hard to miss pulling in to the street.
The mega timber tower reminded us of the play structure at Ron Barassi Snr Park in the Docklands, but smaller and with only one connecting metal tunnel slide, the playground also features a rope climbing obstacle course, toddler friendly slide, three pretend play wooden tractors, balancing beams and two swings.
If you wanted to make a morning or afternoon out at Mulholland Drive Playground, there’s also sheltered barbecue facilities, picnic tables, a drinking fountain and football oval to kick the ball, unfortunately no toilets though – so make sure everyone goes prior to arriving.
