Set in a scenic location overlooking the Arafura Sea in Darwin, the MAGNT is home to internationally renowned artistic, cultural and scientific collections and research programs.

Bring your class or family to the Discovery Centre for kids. Open from 1pm – 4pm daily and offers science and art based hands on activities for all ages as well story books, puzzle, and objects to touch.

Once a month MAGNT holds both a ‘MAGNT Kid’s Club’ (ages 6 – 12) and a ‘MAGNT Youngsters’ (ages 0 – 5) program based around a current exhibition. These require prebooking via their website or through Eventbrite.
MAGNT Youngsters occurs on a Friday morning, after the child friendly turtle and fish feeding at 10:00am, from 10:30am – 11:30am.
MAGNT Kids Club is on a Sunday morning from 10:00am to 12:00pm.

Sweetheart the crocodile and the Transformations Gallery (Natural Sciences) is a hit with young and old!
