Point Leo Estate & Sculpture Park, Mornington Peninsula
Point Leo Estate & Sculpture Park is one of those places that borderline kid friendly, its fancy, but you can still can get away with (well behaved) kids in tow.
The views are to die for, one of the most unique coastal views on the Mornington Peninsula overlooking Western Port bay and Phillip Island. We had a delicious lunch in the Pt Leo Restaurant main dining space sans kids, but there were a number of families eating out with friends too on our visit. If you’re looking for a more casual setting with the fam bam the all weather wine terrace is the place to be, plus there’s live music on the weekends.
The Sculpture Park is a spectacular outdoor gallery within 135 hectares of landscaped grounds. Give the kids a run around on either the short walk (30 min) or long walk (60 min) viewing 60 artworks in the collection and possibly spot a cow or two too in the neighbouring paddock.
Wine or take away coffee is welcomed on the walk, who are we kidding both are a must have accessory for parents, so you’ll feel at home wondering around the grounds with the vineyard, Nobbies and Seal Rock as the perfect backdrop.
Entry into the Sculpture Park is $10 per Adult, $5 Concession & $25 for families.
