Queens Park Playground & Bike Track, Healesville
Queen’s Park in Healesville is a must stop if your in the area, you may even pass it on the way to Healesville Sanctuary Zoo.
The playground reflects local Indigenous heritage and is reference throughout the park in carved timber and stone sculptures. Melbourne Kids will love the tree house style play structure with connecting slides and rope climbing, other play equipment includes a double racer flying fox, multiple swing set, spring rockers, talking tubes, fallen logs for balancing, a sand pit (bring your own toys, buckets and spades), dry rocky creek bed, spinner, in ground trampoline and pendulum basket swing.
There’s lovely grassy areas to have a picnic on or kick a ball, BBQ facilities, plus the Healesville Roll Play bike circuit is not far from the playground, where children can learn traffic skills on a specially-made asphalt track, so don’t forget the bikes, scooters, ride on cars and helmets too!
