The Farm at Byron Bay REVIEW, Ewingsdale
Now by any means this is not your typical cafe, The Farm at Byron Bay is a destination within itself offering much more than just good quality food.
With a functional farm being onsite you get the luxury of being able to walk around the paddocks and get up close and personal with the resident farm animals. This was by far my son Riley’s favourite part for the morning. Once you’ve met all the animals you can then explore the very unique “Garden Shed” a nursery filled with organically grown flowers from the field. They also run kids & adult workshops, be sure to visit The Farm at Byron Bay website for the program details.
Now if that wasn’t enough to keep the whole family occupied, on your way out you have to enjoy a quick play on the fabulous outdoor timber playground. There’s heaps of play equipment to entertain the kids including a cubby house, slide, swings, see-saw and more, there’s not much shade though so it does gets hot on a sunny day, remember to pack the hat and sunscreen just in case.
The Farm at Byron Bay is such a unique place to visit on the South coast with so many wonderful educational activities for the whole family to enjoy. Cannot recommend visiting enough and adding to your “Must see to do list” especially ideal to visit in the cooler seasons.
Open 7 days, 7:00 am – 4:00pm.
