Tooradin Foreshore Reserve Lighthouse Playground, Tooradin
If you are heading down South Gippsland Highway, Tooradin Foreshore Reserve is a great park to stop and stretch the legs on the way to Phillip Island.
The themed lighthouse playground is inspired by the landscape around the Tooradin foreshore area. Featuring a 4 metre tall lighthouse tower with connecting tunnel slide, in ground rubber octopus, balancing rope ladder, spinner, basket swing, talking tubes, toddler wave slide, interactive activity boards, musical instruments and a regular swing set.
There’s also an open lawn area to kick a ball or throw a frisbee, sheltered picnic tables and barbecue facilities for families to use. If you’re lucky you may even spot a pelican or two along the foreshore.
