Tusmore Park Playground and Wading Pool, Tusmore
Tusmore Park is a idyllic park in Adelaide’s east, featuring shady mature trees, grassy lawns and landscaped gardens.
The children’s playground isn’t large, but there’s enough to give the kids a run around, featuring a large climbing frame, swings, slide, sand pit, garden maze, and spinner seat.
During the summer months families can enjoy the children’s wading pool, a great place for kids to play in and cool off in the Adelaide heat. The pool is mostly shaded by a huge shade sail and is open to the public from roughly October to February. Parents need to be vigilant with children around water as the wading pool is unsupervised by lifeguards.
There are also public toilets, lots of grassy lawn areas to kick a ball around, BBQ facilities and picnic tables to use and make a day out with family and friends.
