Walter Gors Park Lighthouse Playground, Dee Why

4.75

We love a good old themed playground and Walter Gors Park is just that and more with something for the whole family.

Located in Dee Why on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, kids, young and old will be entertained by the centrepiece of the playground, the Lighthouse climbing tower, with interactive play walls, helm steering wheels,  porthole lookouts at the top and a big tunnel slippery slide if you need to make your way back to land.

There’s also a smaller beach hut play structure for toddlers and under 5’s with a smaller slide, tunnels, cubby houses and binoculars, plus a spinning carousel and multiple swings near by also.

Walter Gors Park is extra fun in the warmer months with its very own water splash play area, with shooting water jets and fountains. A towel and spare clothing is an absolute must in Summer, the kids will find it hard to resist.

Accessible toilets are also on site, yippee! Which means parents can fire up one of the barbecues, park yourself at a picnic table and enjoy a full day out at Walter Gors Park.
