Wascoe Siding, Blue Mountains Railway Society

Wascoe Siding is open to the public on the first Sunday of every month (except January). You are invited to bring family and friends to picnic in the grounds and ride on the trains.

Passengers board the train at the station and do three laps of the park, including two laps through the tunnel, before returning to the station.

There is both an inner and an outer track, steam, diesel and electric locomotives, fully operational colour light signals, a large marshalling yard and an operational turntable.

Every effort is made to run on open days. However due to the nature of the models and the open riding cars, running will be cancelled if the weather is wet or heavy rain has made the park very wet. Please phone to confirm open after 8.30am on the open day.

All persons who ride on the trains must wear fully enclosed footwear to ensure their safety.

Sunday- 10:00 am – 04:00 pm
